Terms of Service

By accessing or using DropAlways, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally capable of accepting these Terms; minors must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

DropAlways provides temporary file handoff without an account, including uploads, pickup codes, sharing links, optional passwords, download limits, and automatic expiry. It is intended for ordinary photos, non-confidential documents, and everyday printing files transferred between devices.

The service does not provide long-term storage, versioning, disaster recovery, or a service-level guarantee. Files may become unavailable because they expire, reach a download limit, are deleted by the sender, require maintenance, present a security issue, or violate these Terms. Keep your original copy.

Do not upload trade secrets, non-public business information, identity documents, financial or payment information, medical records, government-classified material, intimate imagery, complete passwords or keys, or other data whose disclosure could cause serious harm.

DropAlways is not end-to-end encrypted. An optional password restricts pickup through the service but does not encrypt the file itself. Use a purpose-built encrypted transfer service, or securely encrypt files before upload, when confidentiality is required.

You retain all rights in your content and represent that you have the right to store, transmit, and make it available to the intended recipients.

You grant us only the limited, non-exclusive, temporary rights needed to receive, store, copy, transmit, display, and delete content to operate the service. This permission does not allow us to sell your files or use file contents for advertising profiles or AI model training.

Do not upload or distribute unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, malicious, hateful, harassing, exploitative, or non-consensual intimate material, or anything that violates another person’s privacy, intellectual-property, or other rights.

Do not evade capacity, traffic, security, or access controls; abuse the service through automation; interfere with infrastructure; probe other users’ pickup codes; or use the service as public hosting, software distribution, backup, or a bulk commercial transfer platform.

Anyone with a valid link or pickup code may be able to access the files; if a password is set, anyone with that password may access them. Share these details only through trusted channels. Pickup codes are designed for convenience and should not be treated as confidential credentials.

The keeper link can delete a transfer early and cannot be recovered if lost. A recipient may save or forward a downloaded file, which is outside DropAlways’s control.

Files are held for the period you select and queued for removal when that period ends, a download limit is reached, or the sender requests deletion. System failures, network delays, or provider processing may cause short variations in deletion timing.

Deletion is generally irreversible. We do not promise that a file, code, or link will remain available for any particular period.

The service uses Cloudflare network services, Workers, D1, and R2 object storage. These providers may process information needed to supply their services under their own terms and privacy notices.

The service may display advertising supplied by Google AdSense or another provider. Those providers may use cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses, or similar technologies where permitted, with required notice and choices.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service for security, maintenance, legal, cost, or product reasons. We may remove content that appears unlawful, infringing, harmful, or contrary to these Terms. Advance notice may not be possible in urgent situations.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose, data integrity, permanent retention, or absolute security.

You are responsible for deciding whether a file is suitable for upload, keeping backups, verifying downloads, and using antivirus, encryption, and other reasonable safeguards.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost data, unavailable files, unauthorized sharing, business interruption, lost profits, or indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan, without overriding mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. The parties should first try to resolve disputes in good faith; unresolved disputes may be brought before a court with lawful jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms and will provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Questions may be sent to support@dropalways.com.
